Gold Coast City Gallery’s Signs of the Time is now at The Arts Centre for an extended period of time. From 16 November 2016 to 9 January 2017, you are enticed to enter by painting the front and back facades of two green work sheds at the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.
There are two opportunities available: to paint two walls (your choice of size). First step is to pass opportunity one, a 1.5metre by 12.3metre by 5metre area. The award for this opportunity is AUD$13,000. The next opportunity is for a bigger area, 2.5metres by 14 metres by 5metres. The winner will receive AUD$17,000 as a token of appreciation.
The applications close on 9 January 2017.

It’s an annual display of Queensland’s greatest pyro technicians. There will be colorful fireworks display alongside a great musical score.

The last visual feast is GLOW. It aims to illuminate your senses with a sensory overload with a myriad of light-based installations and activities.
This coming year’s GLOW features a laser water show, illuminated art installations, an open-air cinema, extreme virtual reality and star gazing through giant telescopes.
Music will be provided by Cheap Fakes, LS Philosophy, Aquila Young, Jackson James Smith and Crown The Humble.
