International visitors will probably travel to the Gold Coast via the Brisbane International Airport. Travel time by car from the Brisbane airport is approximately 1 hr 15 mins on the Pacific Motorway.
An Airtrain shuttle service runs from both the Brisbane international and domestic airports to the Gold Coast and takes 1hr 15mins for the journey.
Domestic visitors can also use the airport at Coolangatta. Travel time from the Coolangatta airport to Surfers Paradise is approximately 30 minutes.
